Along with these competitions, a discussion on securing women’s rights was also conducted. The discussion mainly focused on the issue of saving the girl child, how women are treated and what is expected of them regarding their behavior.

The discussion also informed the audience on how to deal with situations by taking legal help if required, and what steps should be taken for the upliftment of women.

More than 60 students were in attendance at the event.
