AAGHAAZ-A call to society
Is a call to awaken society. It’s a drive to invoke the latent humanity that rests within each and every individual. With this event we would like to place the people right at the center of the storm, which are all the societal and developmental concerns prevalent today. We would like to initiate the human mind into playing a more active role in reforming the society. It marks the beginning of a new, more humane, way of life.
This festival, structured by the students of Development Communication 2012-13, AJK MCRC, JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA, aims at promoting awareness amongst the people about the various aspects of society that need change a change with an open heart and mind. The core of our event would be the staging of two self-scripted street plays which show two very rampant social concerns. The first being “NO ONE KILLED EKTA” and “MAI HU WAJAH”.
The students would also be showcasing their talents in photography by putting up an exhibiting of their products. There would be also a source for going through the radio edits done by the students. There would also be a Comic Workshop that would be organized, along with various other interactive modules for a better two-way understanding, both of people and of the students themselves.
