“Peace Walk” Pledging Zero Tolerance Towards Sexual Violence, on Dec. 21 at Jamia

The Outreach Programme and Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a ‘Peace Walk’ pledging ‘zero tolerance of sexual violence’.

The Peace Walk intends to also create awareness on gender sensitivity. The “Peace Walk” will begin sharp at 2 PM on December 21, 2012 from Jamia Main Campus Gate (Near Ghalib Statue) towards Jamia School, Ansari Health Centre, taking a U turn, through Administrative Block into Ansari Auditorium Complex lawns.

Students, teachers and staff of Jamia will participate in the ‘Peace Walk’.
