Musical Troupes from Denmark and Sweden Perform at Jamia

Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi rganized a cultural programme called “An Evening of Sufi Music”. The Troupes from Denmark & Sweden performed as part of this programme.

Danish band ‘Radiant Arcadia’, formed in 2008, comprises women who challenge dogmas about performing arts and have been carrying this message all across the world. The Swedish group ‘Barkbroder Extended’ plays new and traditional music from Sweden in different musical dialects.

The programme was held on February 12, 2014 at 3.30 PM in Ansari Auditorium, Jamia Millia Islamia
