Scenes from the Lawns of Faculty of Fine Arts

Disconnected from the rest of Jamia campus, because of its remote and secluded location, the Faculty of Fine Arts with its big green lawns has developed its own look and feel to the place. The lawns are filled with sculptures, the walls of buildings have murals and graffiti on them, and everywhere you look there is some kind art work on display. They even have their own amphitheater and canteen, which again, is enveloped by all sorts of art work. And the students that frequent the place are naturally also of an artistic persuasion creating uniquely wonderful artistic ambiance to the place.

We hope the following photos and video will give you a glimpse into what the place is like.

[Acknowledgement: We like to thank Nitish, student in the faculty of fine arts, for giving Jamia Journal permission to record him play the guitar at the canteen on the day of our visit.]
