Sisters of Aishwarya Vishwa Vidyalaya visit Jamia VC for Rakhi-Tying Ceremony

Aug. 25, 2015: To mark the auspicious festival of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ which falls on August 29, 2015, the Brahma Kumari sisters tied Rakhi on the hand of Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).

‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a unique festival that brings out the special bonding that exists between brothers and sisters. It represents creative intellection and positive action wherein ‘Rakhi’ is a token for spiritual love and universal brotherhood.

The Brahma Kumari sisters, upholding their long tradition, visit Government and Corporate Offices, Police Headquarters, Universities, Colleges and Schools, Prison Houses, Rescue Homes and Homes for Handicapped, etc. for Rakhi Tying Ceremony.

Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, JMI welcomed the Brahma Kumari sisters to his office very warmly for the Rakhi-Tying Ceremony.
