Jamia Millia Islamia is once again ready to witness the annual college fest Encomium, now in its 12th edition. Encomium ’12, a three day technical-cum-cultural fest is being organized by the IEEEJMI society from the 27th to 29th of January in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
The fest will host myriad competitions, from technical paper presentation (Rationale), business plan (Enmetier), general quiz (Enigma), Robotics (Enchephalia) to street play (Nukkad Natak), Futsal, Treasure Hunt, and photography competition (Shutterbug), among many others.
The event closes with the highly popular rock show, “Sixth String”. The previous edition of “Sixth String” was a runaway success, drawing huge number of students from both inside and outside the university, all swaying to the tunes of some of the best bands of Delhi. This year, the flagship show hopes to be even bigger and better.
IEEEJMI is the JMI Student Branch of the world renowned Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE) society. It is the world’s largest professional association, having close to 4,00,000 members worldwide.

Yes. All students, regardless of college/course, are invited to participate. All you need is a valid college ID card.
Yes. All courses and colleges are welcome. :-)
