The Department of History and Culture, Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Jamia Millia Islamia is gong to organize a Lecture on “Speaking the Devil’s Tongue: The Bengalis of Assam” by Dr. Nabanipa Bhattacharjee of University of Delhi.
Dr. Nabanipa Bhattarcharjee teaches Sociology at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. Her areas of interest include historical and political sociology, partition studies and contemporary North East India. Her articles have published in English and Bangla Books, Journals and magazines.
The programme is scheduled to be held on January 24, 2013 at 12.15 PM in the Seminar Room, Department of History and Culture, Jamia Millia Islamia.
