Students belonging to the Faculty of Architecture at Jamia Millia Islamia attended a Prestigious National Conference organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry titled “Green Buildings & Building Rating Systems”. The objective of the conference was to enhance the knowledge of building professionals about ‘Green Building’ concepts.
The conference was organized by the Environment Committee, PhD Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India.
The Conference raised important concerns about environmental issues related to building & construction industry.
Eminent professionals from the Industry, including Mr. Ashish Rakheja, Chairman Environment Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dr. A.K. Tripathi, Director, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Mr. M.K. Srivastava, Addl. Director, Petroleum Conversation Research Association, Dr. Prem C Jain, Chairman, Indian Green Building Council and Mr. S.K. Gupta, Director, PHD Chamber addressed the students.

I think it’s really great step taken by students belonging to the Faculty of Architecture at Jamia Millia Islamia.Its really helpful for us because today we need Green Buildings which are balance to Environment issues. My point of view Glassisgreen is one of the best options for green architecture buildings.
