Mr. Abad Ahmad, Chair Professor, CMS, Mr. Rihan Khan Suri, Placement Officer, JMI and Mr. U.M. Amin, Director, CMS were the Chief Guests. They shared their valuable experiences and the importance of staying connected with one’s alma mater.

Organised by the current batch of students of 2013 and 2014, Milaap’13 started off on a sacred note with a recitation of the Quran by the students, followed by the Jamia Taraana and then followed by “Roo-ba-roo,” through which the audience got to know the alumni better. This was followed by a song by Zain-ul-Abidin, who sang “Puraani Jeans” and a skit by the dramatics group was performed, both of which showed the life of a college student in its various hues and shades. A photo booth was set up at the venue, for the alumni to capture and take back even more memories from their college.

The alumni were shown a collection of their photos in college which brought back a lot of memories for them. Many of them reminisced their days at CMS and shared their experiences with all the students. Many of them offered to help and guide the students of CMS in every way possible.

Under the guidance of Mr. Anand, an alumnus of CMS, the foundation was laid for the CMS Alumni Association, a common platform for all the batches of CMS to connect and network with each other. The Association raised an initial sum of Rs. 5000 on the same day.

Milaap ’13 ended on a note of joy, gratitude and rekindling of fond memories among all the past and present students with a common consent to continue making efforts towards the welfare of the college and its students.
