Department Correspondents
In an effort to keep our readers better informed of campus activities, we at Jamia Journal are currently looking for students who can work as correspondents for Jamia Journal in their respective departments/centers.
The job does not necessarily entail writing for Jamia Journal, but being our go-to person for all news and information relating to their respective departments.
If you feel you are well connected to and informed of activities in your department, and can reliably perform such a task, then apply for the position of a Department Correspondent using the Contact form below.
In your message, please mention your full name, academic program, department and faculty.
Submissions by Faculty and Alumni
We also accept opinion pieces from Jamia faculty and alumni. However, articles can only be on issues related to Jamia. Whatever the topic maybe, it should have some relevance to the students of Jamia.
Send your submissions directly to the editor at: editor[at]jamiajournal.com
Compensation
We’d like to make it clear that at this moment in time, we are unable to pay anyone for their services. All our staff members work on a purely voluntary basis.
However, if we ever generate a revenue or find a source of funding, we’ll be happy to compensate all our staff members for their hard work and dedication in the past.
Until then, feel rewarded by the satisfaction one receives in being part of something meaningful, constructive and above all — fun.
Republication
