On the occasion of Propose Day, Feb. 8, the second day of Valentine week: students were seen observing the day by “proposing” their love to their girlfriends or boyfriends on campus.
In one such instance, Devraj (Not a Jamia student) proposed his love to his longtime girlfriend: Lalita, a postgraduate student in the department of political science.
In the afternoon, at the university central canteen, Devraj — in a very public display of affection — presented a bouquet of flowers to his blushing girlfriend, Lalita.
Students present at the scene expressed their appreciation for the moment with cheers and applause.

I Was a live witness of this event. it was something new for jamia. jamia crowd appreciated the act in positive manner…it was a moment to cherish. Best of luck to both.
