Jamia, Faculty of Law team was awarded second place at the prestigious 3rd RGNUL National Moot Court Competition held at Rgnul Patiala, Punjab from March 28-30, 2014.
Sixty-eight teams participated in the competition out of which Jamia’s team was awarded second place. The problem for the competition was — Domestic Violence Act. Jamia defeated NSIU, Bangalore in the quarterfinals, and Symbiosis, Pune in the semi-finals.
Jamia three-member team comprised: Shoaib khan, firs speaker; Fahim khan, second speaker; Mohit Verma, researcher.
