POETRY: Philosophical Love

I don’t know if I’m in love,
Just felt butterflies in my stomach.
It’s a Saturday night, I’m feeling alright,
Thanks for making my life shine so bright.

Eyes met, love happened right away,
Time flies, but the memories will stay,
You’re my life, & I wanna live,
With your love, that you always give.

Oh my boy, make up your mind,
Things won’t always go the way you planned.
It’s part of life, you will always find,
Good with the bad, happy with the sad.

But don’t get mad, just understand,
Commit your heart, hold my hand.
You know we’ll make a beautiful pair,
So close your eyes, & look no further.

Thanks a lot for loving me so much,
I need you in my life, don’t know how much.
I’m grateful to God, he sent me an angel like you,
And that’s the reason why i love you.
